DEVELOPMENT OF GROZNY OIL INDUSTRY IN THE 1940-1950S

Abstract. The article deals with the period of recovery and subsequent development of oil industry in Checheno-Ingushetia in the 1940-1950s. The author shows relationship between achievements of the priority oil-producing and oil-refining industry of the Republic and development of other sectors of the economy. The study also highlights difficulties and a number of unsolved problems in this field that influenced the social situation in the region.
