PHENOMENON OF SOLITUDE AS A PERSONALITY TYPE IN THE EPOCHS OF THE RENAISSANCE AND THE REFORMATION

Abstract. In this article the author analyzes socio-historical, ideological-philosophical and value-methodological conditions of the epochs of the Renaissance and the Reformation, which led to cognitive changes in considering the problem of solitude as a personality type. During this period of development of human thought in the social-philosophical context the model of a lonely man begins to displace the Aristotelian paradigm, in which a person is presented as a social being. The author endows the Reformation epoch and development of capitalist relations with special importance in approval of the "Faust" personality type (lonely).
