SOCIOCULTURAL ASPECT OF GENRE PECULIARITIES OF FOLKLORE ON THE BATTLE OF STALINGRAD (PROBLEMS OF HISTORIOGRAPHY)

Abstract. The article examines the state of knowledge in the historiography of the sociocultural aspect of national folklore on the history of the battle of Stalingrad. Using the historical-comparative, historical-typological and special historical methods involving modern technical aids the authors identified the most relevant issues in the historiography in the sphere of peculiarities of folk culture in general and national folklore in particular. Having analyzed the published works and the materials of electronic Internet resources more or less concerned with the mentioned subject the authors conclude that sociocultural aspect of the history of Stalingrad battle represented in the national folklore is insufficiently investigated.
