ENVIRONMENTAL NEEDS AS A BASIS OF FORMATION OF ECOLOGICAL CONSCIOUSNESS AND ECOLOGICAL CULTURE OF THE PERSON

Abstract. The article deals with the issue of environmental needs and their role in the process of the formation of the ecological consciousness and ecological culture of the person. The author considers the current environmentally oriented philosophical conceptions of the development of the person and the society in the conditions of global problems. It is concluded that humanity needs transition to a new level of existence and the formation of a qualitatively new social type of the person, who can be described as environmentally oriented and a bearer of ecological culture.
