EVOLUTION OF THE SYSTEM TO CONTROL URBAN CORPORATIONS OF COSSACKS "BY GOVERNMENTAL RECRUITMENT" OF THE XVII CENTURY IN MOSCOW STATE

Abstract. The article examines certain aspects of organizing military service "by governmental recruitment" in Moscow State in the XVII century. Among the variety of services "by governmental recruitment" the author focuses on the poorly investigated in the Russian historiography problems of organizing and functioning of "monarchic Cossack service". Relying on documentary materials from the funds of the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts the paper summarizes new data on the peculiarities of controlling urban service class corporations.
