Abstract. The article analyzes value and ideological conflicts in the south of Russia and grounds for these conflicts subdivided into socio-structural (social inequality, polarization, etc.) and ideological (fundamentalist, ethno-nationalistic values) ones. The paper shows that the value and ideological conflict comes out as a disintegrating factor because it generates radical, extremist, fundamentalist ideas and consequently threatens the integration of the society. Sociocultural integration is considered as an instrument to overcome value and ideological conflicts.
