TRANSFORMATION OF MODERN SOCIAL STRUCTURE: ARE CLASSES DISAPPEARING?

Abstract. The article deals with the problem of the transformation of social structure and the existence of classes and class identity in the era of globalization. The contradictory nature of the class structure of the capitalist society is revealed. During the first approach to social reality the class nature of global capitalism becomes apparent. The theses about the disappearance of classes in the modern society are recognized as mistaken ones and are considered as theoretical concealment of the continuing exploitation of a human being by a human being, of one class by another one.
