BEING AND EXISTENCE OF HUMAN AND DIVINE IN MEDIEVAL PHILOSOPHY

Abstract. The article analyzes the attitude of medieval religious philosophy to the problem of the being and existence of a human and the God. The study focuses on the place and role of human in the divine world. The author justifies the thesis that in medieval philosophy the prototype of human existence is a personality - the God embodied in Christ. Consequently, a human created in God’s image and likeness is a personality as well.
