EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS AND PROBLEM OF PERSONALITY’S DEVELOPMENT

Abstract. The article deals with the theme of the personality studied in the course of philosophy. The main characteristics of the personality are analyzed through the lenses of the requirements of the educational standard of higher education of the last generation. The author considers the notion "modern personality" and identifies such characteristics of it that were absent or were expressed in the implicit form in previous epochs. The connection of the personality problems with educational standards raises the importance of studying the philosophy course removing doubts about the need to study philosophy at a technical higher education establishment.
