LGOV COSSACK SQUADRON IN THE SYSTEM OF GERMAN OCCUPATION REGIME OF KURSK REGION IN 1941-1943

Abstract. The article is based on the archival and investigative documents of the state security bodies of Belgorod and Kursk region. The mentioned documents are introduced into scientific use for the first time. The authors examine the provisions and specifics of the formation of a Cossack squadron from among traitors to their country within Kursk region territory in the period of German occupation (1941-1943). The paper identifies the basic functional duties of this unit in the repressive system of the imposed German "new order".
