TRANSFORMATION OF RELIGIOUS REGULATORS OF THE SOCIAL NORM UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF BIOTECHNOLOGY IMPLEMENTATION

Abstract. The article deals with the transformation of the religious regulators of the modern social norm in the conditions of biotechnology implementation. The theoretical analysis of leveling the religious commandments of western religions under the influence of the progress of genetics and biomedicine is conducted. The author expresses the fear that in such a way of the society evolution the previous centuries-old experience of the development of religious morality can completely lose its value and cease to perform the regulating function. The solution of the problem is to ensure the continuity of generations to the maximum, which makes it possible to adopt the cultural traditions of the people by a new generation.
