LEGAL PROTECTION OF IMMATERIAL CULTURAL HERITAGE IN CHINA

Abstract. The paper gives a brief analysis of the problem of the preservation of immaterial cultural heritage in China, describes the contents of the national legislation about its legal protection and analyzes the problems of its particular use. The author makes conclusions about the peculiarities of the legal protection system of the immaterial cultural heritage of China, examines the tendencies of its promising development. The article also provides the classification of administrative, criminal and civil-law methods of regulation in this area, sets out particular proposals concerning the improvement of the national legislation.
