SOCIAL AND LIVING CONDITION OF THE EVACUATED POPULATION IN DAGESTAN DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR (1941-1945)

Abstract. The article deals with the social and living condition of the evacuated population accommodated in Dagestan during the Great Patriotic War. The author focuses on the analysis of the activity of the republican party and Soviet organizations on the improvement of the living conditions of the forced migrants in the new location. It is concluded that in spite of objective material and financial difficulties, Dagestan party and state authorities managed to provide necessary living and material conveniences for the evacuees.
