Abstract. The article conducts the analysis of the value aspects of social justice. The significance and role of values in a person’s life are determined. The correlations of the notions "value" and "significance", "value" and "assessment", "value" and "good" are examined. Such aspects of social justice as social, legal and political ones are singled out and considered separately. The need for social justice in the modern Russian society is analyzed. The evaluation of the role of social justice in the society development is presented.
