CULTURAL HERITAGE AS A CULTURE-PHILOSOPHICAL CATEGORY IN THE CONTEXT OF HISTORY: PRACTICE OF PRESERVING VALUE

Abstract. The article discusses cultural heritage and the role of the subject - a human being - in its destiny. The author focuses on a certain period of revolutionary reforms in Russia resulting in the cardinal change of value paradigms. Cultural heritage is interpreted as an anthropo-socio-cultural system, which undergoes transformations due to the activity of the subject of heritage. These transformations have both positive and negative influence on the system of heritage.
