PECULIARITIES OF RENEWAL OF THE MODERN RUSSIAN POLITICAL ELITE

Abstract. The article deals with the issues of the renewal of the political elite. The purpose of the research is to reveal the ways and methods of the Russian political elite renewal. The author sets the following objectives: 1) to study the recruitment methods of the political elite; 2) to single out the filters of the elite renewal that were used during the Soviet era and are used in modern Russia; 3) to identify the key filters, on the basis of which the representatives of the Russian authorities are renewed.
