PHENOMENON OF UNCANNY: EXPERIENCE OF PHILOSOPHICAL REFLECTION BY FREUD AND HEIDEGGER

Abstract. The article deals with the phenomenon of uncanny in psychoanalysis (Freud) and existentialism (Heidegger). Home is of primary importance in culture as a space, which marks boundaries between one’s own and someone else’s worlds. The largest fear is caused by the blurring of these boundaries. This factor is connected with the phenomenon of uncanny in psychoanalysis as one’s own initially but as a result of exclusion it becomes someone else’s and dangerous. This topic was continued in existentialism, where a human is comprehended as a creature thrown out into the indifferent world and only in the homelessness of existential fear he/her comes to him(her)self.
