HOFF INTENDANT’S CHANCERY AND ARCHITECT A. P. EVLASHEV’S SERVICE IN MOSCOW IN THE 30S OF THE XVIII CENTURY

Abstract. The article for the first time examines previously unpublished archival documents regarding the history of the creation and functioning of the Hoff Intendant’s Chancery in Moscow during Anna Ioannovna’s reign (1730-1732). By the example of the episodes concerning the architect A. P. Evlashev’s service the author shows the conditions of the existence and the specifics of this profession in the first half of the XVIII century, clarifies the existing dating, proposes to conduct the documentary study of architectural and civil engineering departments in Russia in connection with architects’ activity.
