ARTISTIC AND PRAGMATIC PECULIARITIES OF URBAN AND LANDSCAPE SCULPTURE: ANALYTICAL REFLECTION

Abstract. The article is of theoretical nature, it is based on the systematization of the world sculpture creative heritage. The author analyzes the specificity of the method to create urban and landscape sculpture in the context of historical development. The paper introduces the classification of the types of sculpture location in open space and the methods of its illumination. The principles of artistic practice are analyzed in relation to culturological and esthetic and philosophical aspects. The samples of the Chinese sculpture of various epochs are introduced into the context of the general tendencies of the evolution of urban and landscape sculpture.
