INTERPRETING PHILOSOPHICAL AND ANTHROPOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF SOCIAL WORK TECHNOLOGY

Abstract. The key question of philosophy "What is a human being?" is relevant for social work technology. The author examines the problem of the interaction of a subject and an object in social work and identifies the specifics of a human being that involves the dichotomous integrity of "human in need" and "helping hand". The paper reveals the models, by which knowledge on an object’s problems is formed, discovers the qualities of a subject’s altruistic behaviour (human and professional values, ethics of social redistribution of resources).
