MUSICALITY OF URBAN LANDSCAPE AS A COMPONENT OF CULTURAL LANDSCAPE OF THE TOWN (BY THE EXAMPLE OF BARNAUL PAINTING)

Abstract. The subject of the analysis is a specific feature of the picturesque urban landscape (musicality) and its influence on an associative part of cultural landscape of the town. The complementarity principle, used in the analysis of a number of paintings by Barnaul artists, revealed musical characteristics in them (form, texture, melodic structure, dynamics, tempo, rhythm, culmination, etc.) and enabled to trace their impact on the image of the town. Musicality of painting as a component of cultural landscape of the town is considered for the first time.
