DIALECTICS OF POWER IN THE DISCOURSE OF SOCIO-PHILOSOPHICAL ANTHROPOLOGY

Abstract. The article discusses the ways of dialectical understanding of power in the discourse of socio-philosophical anthropology. Special attention is paid to the examination of power in works of Plato, Aristotle, the Stoics, Christian theology, Th. Hobbes, G. Hegel, and A. Kozhev. Specificity of anthropogenic struggle for recognition is analyzed as a key concept. The focus is on the fact that power is activity, which manifests itself as existential desire to control other people’s wishes in the anthropological perspective.
