ONTOLOGICAL CONSTANT OF CORRELATION BETWEEN CREATIVITY AND PSEUDO-CREATIVITY WITHIN THE TAOIST PHILOSOPHICAL TRADITION

Abstract. The article aims to discover the ontological nature of creativity in the context of Taoist philosophy. The author focuses on analyzing the philosophical conceptions by Laozi, Zhuang Zhou, Zong Bing and Liu An. Relying on the research findings the paper for the first time explores the intention of ambivalent creation interpretation, which manifests itself through the opposition of creativity and pseudo-creativity. The paper identifies and describes the typical features of creativity and pseudo-creativity according to Taoist thinkers. The researcher justifies the necessity for essential differentiation of these phenomena from the ontological viewpoint in order to avoid the problems of social, personal and ideological nature.
