EXISTENTIAL ANTHROPOLOGY AND EXISTENTIAL METAPHYSICS OF GABRIEL MARCEL

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of anthropology and metaphysics of Gabriel Marcel (1889-1973). Particular attention is paid to the consideration of "being-in-the-world" as the unity of the spiritual and physical phenomena of the individual in a particular situation, as well as to the opposition of "problem" and "mystery" as two ways of understanding existence by people. It is emphasized that the existentials of human being are also used along with notions and categories in existential anthropology and existential metaphysics of the French thinker.
