LOVE IN METAPHYSICS, ANTHROPOLOGY AND AXIOLOGY OF MAX SCHELER

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of love in the philosophy of Max Scheler (1874-1928). The authors reveal the specificity of metaphysical cognition; consider the essence and tasks of philosophical anthropology and the basic theses of science about values ??and value attitudes. Particular attention is paid to the characteristic of "ordo amoris" - "order of love" - ??as the personality’s inmost core. It is emphasized that the German philosopher’s doctrine of the man is theonomous anthropology and existential anthropology. In his conception love is understood as existential of the human being and as universal cosmic intention, in which the love of God and to God is expressed.
