TRADITIONAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS OF DAGESTAN: MODERN MANUFACTURING PRACTICES

Abstract. The article considers the musical-commercial traditions of Dagestan. By the example of some masters’ creative work the features of such traditions existence are shown. It is noted that small commercial seats on national musical instruments manufacturing have formed in the republic today, and buyers come from neighboring Azerbaijan, North Caucasus republics and other places for the purchase of Dagestan masters’ products. Taking into account the rare nature of these handicrafts, the authors propose to take these trades under special state care.
