MEMORIAL COMPLEXES BY THE SCULPTOR J. Z. SOMMER WITHIN ALTAI TERRITORY

Abstract. The paper addresses the problem of studying memorials created by the sculptor J. Z. Sommer within Altai territory in commemoration of the fallen in the Great Patriotic War. The researcher conducted comprehensive work to study and clarify the number of monuments by this author. The aim is to show the preservation of the historical memory of the war of 1941-1945 through the personal contribution of the author of memorial complexes and military-memorial heritage as works of art influencing the formation of patriotism and tolerance among the young generation.
