PROBLEM OF "REASSESSMENT" OF VALUES IN THE HISTORY OF WEST EUROPEAN PHILOSOPHY AND EDUCATION OF THE XIX CENTURY

Abstract. The article analyzes the situation of the change of axiological dominants in the culture of Western Europe of the XIX century on the basis of works of philosophers-romanticists. The paper considers the transformation of moral-aesthetic values in the axiological sphere of culture, and also the impact of the axiological sphere changes on education as a socio-cultural phenomenon. As a result certain contradiction between the axiological dominants of culture and education is found out, which testifies to the indirect correlation of the axiological spheres of culture and education.
