PHILOSOPHICAL DISCOURSE OF THE SOVIET AND POST-SOVIET PERIOD AS EXPERIENCE OF INTERPRETING "THE OTHER"
P'yanykh Elena Pavlovna
Ural State University of Railway Transport
Abstract. The article aims to identify the specifics of the domestic philosophy of the Soviet and post-Soviet period. The author considers philosophy as the existence of freely reflecting consciousness (spirit). The analysis of the appropriate philosophical discourse indicates that this philosophical culture, unlike the European one, is not a self-consciousness culture. It is based on "the Other" - some primordial substance imparting meaning to the existing reality, justifying the order of things. Soviet Marxism, liberal ideas and Orthodoxy can also be interpreted as "the Other".
