FORMATION OF ARCHITECTURE’S ANTHROPOMORPHOUS FEATURES AND MEANS OF ITS ARTISTIC EXPRESSIVENESS

Abstract. The article analyzes the specifics of ancient architecture from the viewpoint of visual perception. The author explores the diversity of factors and means, which determined its uniqueness and expressiveness. The paper traces the formation of these factors in different historical epochs, classifies relations implementing the artistic and figurative tasks of ancient architecture, examines the types of architectural language, on the basis of which its anthropomorphous features are formed, and identifies similarities in compositional features generalization that pre-established the metric system as harmony based on studying the human’s proportions.
