PRAJNAPARAMITA DOCTRINE IN TIBETAN BUDDHISM TRADITION

Abstract. The article examines Prajnaparamita conception, analyzes its literature and development history in Tibetan tradition. Prajnaparamita philosophy is a conceptual foundation of the basic Buddhism tradition - Gelug one, which predetermined the nature of Buddhist doctrine in Tibet. In this connection the research findings can be successfully applied in the sphere of Buddhist studies, philosophy, history of culture, religious studies and are valuable for a wide circle of readers interested in Buddhism and its history. The paper can also be used as a material for textbooks.
