Abstract. One of the tendencies of the development of international relations at the present stage is the search for the most optimal and mutually acceptable forms of the communication and partnership of states. In the paper a regional integration association The Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) is examined from the point of view of membership, organizational structure, constitutive aims and activity content. The authors note that the formation of the EEU opens broad perspectives for the multilevel cooperation and consolidation of the countries-members of the organization.
