INFLUENCE OF VALUES ON REDUCING THE LEVEL OF EXTREME BEHAVIOUR

Abstract. The article examines the values and value orientations as necessary backgrounds influencing an individual’s behaviour. The basis for the research is the extreme, which under certain conditions transforms into extreme mood and manifests itself in extreme behaviour. Values are of special importance in this process since under the change of value orientations scale a considerable growth of extreme behaviour occurs. At the same time under the established and stable value orientations scale, patriotic education and the stable development of social system a decrease of a person’s extreme behaviour occurs.
