INTERDISCIPLINARY FOUNDATIONS OF SOCIAL THEORY: PSYCHOANALYTICAL IDEOLOGY CONCEPTIONS

Abstract. The article aims to examine the ideology conceptions developed within the framework of psychoanalysis trend. The author shows the relation between the psychoanalytical interpretation of ideology phenomenon and "illusory consciousness" conception by K. Marx and F. Engels. The paper touches on the problem of the interrelation of the psychic state of the individual and the type of chosen personal ideologies, at the same time special attention is paid to the analysis of the views by E. Fromm and O. F. Kernberg. The author also identifies the weak points of psychoanalytical approach and its insufficiency for understanding social phenomena.
