Abstract. The article analyzes some aspects of the esthetics of photography. Photography in everyday context is frequently considered in connection with captured object. Viewers often approach artistic photography from this very viewpoint. The authors introduce possibilities for the realization of denotative horizon in art and conclude on the possibility to depict an object in a photographic image.
