Abstract. In the article the idea that the successful career of a musician along with the presence of talent and performing professionalism stipulates the activity on the promotion of creativity in modern competitive environment is grounded. The purpose of the work is to trace the practical experience of marketing communications in modern music industry. In conclusion, the author points out the necessity to plan marketing strategy, the particular importance of the formation and study of the target audience of the art of music.
