FRANKFURT SCHOOL ON SPIRITUAL FREEDOM: OBJECT OF SUPPRESSION AND SPHERE OF SENSE FORMATION

Abstract. The consumer societies of the second half of the XX century, which formed the "one-dimensional human", have been subjected to comprehensive negative criticism. Such thought development is typical of Frankfurt School. In the works of its members the reverse side of the situation - the issue about the essence of the state of spiritual freedom - is revealed. However, some provisions of the Critical Theory of Society are still undervalued despite undoubted methodological significance in the process of human self-actualization.
