Abstract. In the context of the latest international-political reality the balance of the forces of the leading world powers, the spheres of their political accord and rivalry in global society are analyzed. Long-term factors, which can reduce the intensity of conflict between Russia and the West, return interstate relations in the direction of constructive cooperation, determine the formation of a new international system, are examined.
