ORIGIN OF METAPHYSICS OF "WILL FOR PROSPERITY" AS A RESPONSE TO SITUATION OF UNCERTAINTY OF MEANING

Abstract. The article examines the definitions of culture able to provide additional tools to understand its crisis. At the turn of the XIX-XX centuries a large amount of data indicates to the origin of the unstable in the existential and meaningful sphere of self-consciousness. The way out from the difficult situation is the propagation of the pragmatic values of civilization. However such method to form vital meanings is a false one in relation to spiritual freedom. This fact predetermines a new wave of crisis lasting up to now.
