GOALS AND MOTIVES OF IRANIAN NUCLEAR PROGRAM

Abstract. The article offers an analysis of Iranian nuclear program. The possible political, economic, geopolitical and religious motives of Iranian nuclear ambitions are considered. Relations with the neighboring countries in the region are described, and the mechanism of strengthening the status of Iran at regional and international levels is explained. The phenomenon of dual policy in relation to the possession of nuclear weapon is argued.
