Abstract. The article examines the issue of new tendencies in the life of Russian women. Thereupon attention is paid to the causes contributing to the transformation of the course of life of the woman, and above all the paper points at the increased degree of freedom, which has found its manifestation in social, spiritual and natural aspects. The author supports and substantiates the idea of the comprehension of the essence of the woman as the realization of her personal origin. At the same time the analysis of the peculiarities of the business and personal life of the modern woman is accentuated.
