Abstract. The article is devoted to the modern urban forms of interethnic communications in the North Caucasus region. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the activity of national-cultural societies in Mozdok in The Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in the process of the build-up of interethnic, interconfessional dialogue and interactions. By the example of the Kabardian ethnic group the methods of keeping and developing the traditional and innovative forms of national culture are examined.
