SOCIAL PROTECTION AND HEALTH OF WOMEN-MIGRANTS IN TATARSTAN

Abstract. The article is devoted to the social problem of women-migrants’ health. On the basis of field materials (deep interviews) the author analyzes the social protection and health of migrants including reproductive health. The paper shows that the process of the realization of migrants’ social rights, first of all in the sphere of health care, and social benefits is associated with certain social and legal problems. It results in the social vulnerability of not only women-migrants themselves but also of their children.
