INFORMATIONAL BASIS OF CONTEMPORARY GLOBALIZATION: TREND TO VIRTUALIZATION

Abstract. The article studies the features of the informational support of modern globalization processes. The author analyzes trends that lead to the functional changes of human factor in informational society. Investigating the features of globalization manifestations in social sphere the researcher demonstrates that the informational basis of current global processes tends to virtualization. It is proved that the mass virtualization of consciousness in the conditions of fragmented culture leads to the destruction of the foundations of the latter.
