Abstract. The article is devoted to the problems of the search of new rationality in modern social-philosophical knowledge, the definiteness of the position of philosophy in modern culture and society. On the basis of the experience of the critical comprehension of classical tradition and modernity the process of the dehumanization of the idea of the human, the submission of mind to the idea of progress is fixed. The formation of new anthropocentrism, according to the author, happens in the conditions of the actualization of the critical and communicative potentials of human mind.
