ROLE OF IMAGE OF THE FUTURE IN CHOICE OF LIFE STRATEGIES OF MODERN RUSSIAN YOUTH

Abstract. In the article the authors ground that the social integration, self-identification of youth depend on the degree of the correlation of the prevailing in the society values with the individual value world, the choice of life strategy is determined by the image of the desired future. The sociological meaning of the category "image of the future" and its importance for various generations of the modern Russians are identified. It is proved that the polyvariance of modern value systems determines the relevance of the study of their content in generational aspect.
