INFLUENCE OF ETHNO-NATIONAL PECULIARITIES ON INVARIANT AND VARIANT GENDER REPRESENTATIONS

Abstract. The article reveals interconnection between the ethno-national diversity of Southern Russia region and invariant and variant gender representations. The phenomenon of invariant and variant gender representations is determined. The first ones are interpreted as internal, essential, conditioned by the complex combination of biological and cultural-historical factors, the second ones are external, variant, frequently superficial, depending on the current situation in the concrete society.
