SOCIAL-CULTURAL INTEGRATION OF THE RUSSIAN SOCIETY AS A METHOD OF ETHNIC CULTURES CONSOLIDATION

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of the social and cultural integration of the modern Russian society under the conditions of its multiethnicity. The topicality of the chosen theme is conditioned by the disintegrational consequences of the post-Soviet society transformation and its value orientations associated with the growth of intolerance and ethnic tension. The content of the paper might be of interest for those, who are engaged in studying the problems of social-cultural integration in the context of globalization, the issues of the construction of the general Russian national identity and national idea.
