Abstract. In the article the lyrics of Fatikh Karim of the 1930s - the period of the creative formation of his "poetic voice" - are analyzed. The study of his poems of these years shows that the process of the poetic evolution of the author went toward the greater activation of lyric nature in his works. The creator’s use of the artistic possibilities of the song, which was reflected in a number of the used figurative-expressive techniques and means of the creation of the lyrical image, played an important role in this process.
