FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS OF ISHIM REGION AT THE TURN OF THE XIX-XX CENTURIES

Abstract. The article examines the process of the formation of specialized financial institutions for the population of the West Siberian province in the pre-revolution period. The participation of the state in the creation of urban and rural banks, savings banks, credit partnerships and so on is shown. Their location, peculiarities of functioning, effectiveness are revealed. The impact of these institutions on the improvement of the quality of life of the Siberian peasants, the preservation and development of agriculture in harvestless years is demonstrated.
